In 2007, Aspirations Manifest with Careful Planning

From my informal research talking to clients and friends, the year 2007 is off to a great start. New enthusiasm and hope is in the air and many are feeling more confident to act on their long-held dreams.

Compliments of expansive Jupiter’s move into optimistic Sagittarius around Thanksgiving, this idealistic and energetic feeling will carry through December when Jupiter slips into grounded, practical Capricorn. For now, hope is alive!

However, with the ongoing alignment of harsh reality- focused Saturn in Leo opposite altruistic and imaginative Neptune in Aquarius not complete until mid June, too much risk-taking may leave you out on a limb and disillusioned. Are you afraid of the responsibility (Saturn) to actualize your desire or have you been living on vague dreams (Neptune) and wishing someone else would make them happen?

I know that in the early part of this new millennium we experience more than enough fear, conflict, and despair. Isn’t it great to feel optimistic for a change? But unbounded enthusiasm now that spirits are lighter could lead to disappointment. This opportunity for manifesting your aspirations should not be squandered on “pie in the sky” projects. It will take focus and working on one step at a time but you can make it happen.

Saturn will be moving into detail-oriented Virgo in September and Jupiter moving into hard-working Capricorn in December where Pluto will join in January of 2008. There will be more than enough energy for practical issues and a need for facing responsibilities. Both Virgo and Capricorn are earth element signs. By the end of the year, you will need to have your foundation in place and your goals well-defined as you proceed strategically.

Here’s how I believe you can maximize success in 2007.

..Take inventory of your life noting what isn’t working and clarify your desires for improvement.

..Make a decision about which of your desires is important to make happen now, keeping mind that it may also mean there is something you must give up (self doubt?).

..Spend some time visualizing yourself achieving your goal; feel the joy and appreciation as if you accomplished your dream. (This is an important step in consciously manifesting anything.)

..Put your pen to paper describing step-by- step actions you need to take; good research and planning skills are required.

..Then step forth into your dream, knowing it will take self-discipline to accomplish but expecting to enjoy it all the way!

I too have several personal goals I wish to achieve this year. The first one will start tomorrow, January 18. I would like to write and process my thoughts more frequently that the monthly approach of this newsletter. I am very excited to begin!

At 11:01 pm under the New Moon of Capricorn, I will initiate a blog “devoted to living a Spirit-infused life of joy and fulfillment through honoring one’s own uniqueness and appreciating the diversity of others.” I expect to write and post new entries a couple times a week.

I hope you will join me by subscribing and sharing your thoughts, if so moved. There’s no telling where this will lead. I have wanted to do this for quite sometime.

Some of you had to opportunity to join me through my travel blog during my trip to Alaska. Now you’ll have the opportunity to following my thoughts and experiences as I seek to live a more and more conscious Spirit-filled life of love, joy and fulfillment.

As I commit to taking the practical steps to manifest my aspirations, I hope you’ll join me in manifesting your own deepest desires through strong visioning and careful planning.

Thursday, Jan 18, 11:01 pm ET – NEW MOON at 29 Capricorn, Venus joins Neptune in Aquarius
A New Moon always symbolizes a new beginning but happen in the last degree of a sign as it is signifies the beginning of an ending. Happening in Capricorn, it could well mean whatever has been holding you back from accomplishing your desires may now be ending so you can move forward. Though you are loving and spiritual, you must also take responsibility for yourself and your contribution in the world - time to let go of what is blocking. A close freedom-loving challenge between Jupiter and Uranus (exact on Monday) provides the urge to jump forward, while the Capricorn New Moon suggests caution before doing something risky. Fortunately, Venus also joins Neptune serving up creativity, love and compassion to help integrate the other energies.

If you wish upon the New Moon (within 3 days before or after), you have the possibility of fulfillment by the time of the Full Moon. Capricorn New Moon wishes relate to: future security, handling responsibility, reaching goals, success/recognition, management skills, authority figures, releasing controlling tendencies.

Monday, Jan 22 - Jupiter in Sagittarius challenges Uranus in Pisces; Venus in Aquarius challenges Saturn in Leo
One of 2007’s major alignments, this Jupiter-Uranus aspect is the first of three (also May 10 & Oct 9) times when unbridled enthusiasm (Jupiter) meets risk- taking innovation (Uranus). There could be unexpected eruptions of change, impulsive behavior that results in brilliant breakthroughs or unrealistic optimism. The creative process is often fueled by challenge and conflict, so by all means be flexible. The presence of Venus opposing Saturn at the same time suggests others do not share your own values.

Friday, Jan 26 - Mercury joins Neptune in Aquarius; Venus in Aquarius enjoys Pluto in Sagittarius
This could be a very creative day as you focus on Spirit rather than matter. You may find yourself daydreaming into new territory so be sure to record your insights. You might also enjoy sharing what you are passionate about with another today.

Sunday, Jan 28 - Mercury in Aquarius challenges Saturn in Leo
Whatever views you hold, today is a day when you could find others who disagree. A better way to use this energy would be to find a project that needs persistence to finish the task.

Friday, Feb 2, 12:45 am ET - FULL MOON at 13 Leo
The Sun in Aquarius is opposite the Moon in Leo setting up a heart vs. head or feeling vs. thinking polarity. Expansive Jupiter, however, mediates by suggesting that both head and heard are needed to succeed. Since the Sun has just passed Chiron, the Wounded Healer, we have an opportunity to leave behind old feelings of alienation and move forward with our ideals.

Wednesday, Feb 7 - Venus joins Uranus in Pisces
Enjoying the unusual and desiring excitement come bubbling up from within. Enjoy the freedom to explore innovative activities without unduly risking what really matters in the long run.

Thursday, Feb 8 - Sun joins Neptune in Aquarius
Your spiritual nature is a focus today as you are extra sensitive and intuitive. Take time to meditate, walk in nature or just sit and ponder. What might you create that will benefit others?

Friday, Feb 9 - Venus in Pisces challenges Jupiter in Sagittarius
It’s a wonderful evening to enjoy a movie that inspires your idealism or throw a party and invite everyone you know, since you may be feeling particularly generous and open-hearted to everyone. Just don’t raise your expectations too high and feel let down by others.

Saturday, Feb 10 - Sun in Aquarius challenges Saturn in Leo
With the Sun and Saturn in each others sign, you may feel a real sense of responsibility for others. Are you feeling burdened or coercing by other’s needs? Remember the choice is yours whether respond or not.

Tuesday, Feb 13 - Mercury retrogrades at 10 Pisces until Mar 7
With Mercury in Pisces already rather inwardly focused, we now think retrospectively. The usual warnings about signing contracts, making major purchases, and backing up computer systems are in order. More than usual, you’ll need to make an effort to communicate clearly. Don’t leave anything important to chance. Double check dates, plans, and expectations. Meanwhile, this period is a perfect time to revisit your dreams. Is there a creative activity you haven’t allowed yourself to enjoy lately? Now is a good time.
